THE Sunshine Coast continues to be Queensland’s property powerhouse with several mega sales over the past 12 months.
A stunning waterfront home at 12 Noosa Parade, Noosa Heads fetched $27m in what was the biggest sale in Queensland in the past financial year.
The founder of one of Australia’s biggest yoghurt producers, Jalna managing director Campbell McLaren, and his wife, Pam, fell in love with the property while holidaying there. The previous owner, a Melbourne-based lawyer, had no intention of selling until he got an offer he could not refuse.
A waterfront mansion at 47 Mossman Court, with a 20m frontage and its own white sandy beach, sold in December for $23.25m in what was the second biggest home sale of 2022-23.
Bought in 2020 by Hancock Prospecting executive Dan Wade for $10.9m, the property was snapped up in just 12 days by Jaclyn Gazal, socialite sister of Real Housewives of Sydney star Krissy Marsh.
