Nina, Chevron Island apartments, secure development approval

The $90 million Nina will soon rise at 8-10 Parneno Street, just around the corner form the under-construction Allure.

The contemporary Chevron Island apartment development, Nina, has been given the green light by the Gold Coast City Council.

The development by Aecore, formerly Macquarie York, is their third in three years on the Gold Coast. They successfully sold out their debut Chevron Island project, Allure, just a few months ago. They’re also currently developing the luxury Ocean House project in Palm Beach.

The $90 million Nina will soon rise at 8-10 Parneno Street, just around the corner form the under-construction Allure. It will have 78 apartments over 23 storeys, including a selection of six premium skyhomes and two multi-level penthouses that offer views east to the Pacific Ocean and west to the Gold Coast Hinterland.

“We are extremely happy to have council approval behind us, as we now look to the next phase of delivering our signature dose of luxury to Chevron Island,” Aecore Project Director Roy Skaf said.

“Nina offers us the opportunity to build on the success we witnessed in Allure, while bringing a newer, differentiated product to a marketplace of buyers eager to call Chevron Island home.”

The six exclusive skyhomes will offer 233 sqm of living space, which will include three bedrooms, a media room and four-bathrooms, as well as two large balconies.

Nina will be topped by two double-storey penthouses offering even more living space, as well as their own private terrace and plunge pool.

On the ground floor residents will have access to a secure bike storage area at the building’s entry, while a mezzanine level above the ground floor will host a wellness centre to include a yoga deck, a large gym, sauna and shower facilities, all set in lush landscaping.

Plus Architecture has been engaged to deliver the tower’s distinctive curvature and detailing which was meticulously designed to capture the coastal essence of ‘barefoot luxury’.
