An ambitious residential and retail development in Caloundra has been granted approval as the region’s ‘hot property’ trend continues.
The project is the only new development approval granted on the Pumicestone Passage side of Bulcock Street in recent years.
It will present a series of “large sky homes” that will provide unmatched coastal luxury and are a rarity in the surrounding area.
BIANCO Caloundra will create a new standard for luxury waterside living in Caloundra, offering open plan apartments for buyers wanting to take advantage of apartment living without compromising on function.
Sunshine Coast Council has approved the 33-apartment development across eight levels, with high-end retail, service and hospitality businesses earmarked for the ground floor.
Located on the corner of Bulcock Street and Tay Avenue, the complex will also and be within easy walking access to nearby restaurants and the water.
The project is designed by renowned architects Cottee Parker and it will be developed by Coast-based RCQ Projects.
RCQ executive director Ric Peterson said BIANCO integrated with Sunshine Coast Council’s vision for revitalising Bulcock Street, which has been recognised for its creativity as Australia’s first smart City Streetscape.
“We were extremely pleased that our vision for this premium parcel of land matched that of the council,” Mr Peterson said.
“We all agreed that the building that sits upon this gateway site must encompass the bold vision for the future of the area and we believe BIANCO delivers.”
Each apartment will indulge in spectacular views and buyers can choose from two, three or four-bedroom configurations, all with multipurpose rooms and a minimum of two secure car spaces.
Other apartment features will include large floor plans, home offices and generous balconies.
Each apartment will also be luxuriously fitted out with premium European appliances from brands such as Gaggenau and Siemens.
“We are passionate about delivering an outstanding product that responds to the local context and culture of this area,” Mr Peterson said.
